Privacy policy
This policy covers the games made by Mile Marker Games (including Pump City: Truck Stop Tycoon and Mallopolis: Shopping Mall Tycoon) and this website. In short: we don't ask for an account, and we don't collect your personal information.
What our games don't do
Our games don't ask you to sign up, don't track you, don't show ads, and don't send us your saves, your settings or anything about how you play.
Steam
We sell our games on Steam. Valve handles your purchase, your Steam account, and, if you use them, Steam Cloud saves and the Steam overlay. A game asks Steam, on your computer, whether you own our other games and any downloadable content, to show what's yours and unlock bonus items; that answer stays on your computer. Valve's own privacy policy covers what Steam does.
Studio news
Our games' main menus can show news about our games. To do that, a game reads our public announcements from Steam (api.steampowered.com) and our list of games from this website. Like any web request, these show your IP address to the server that answers (Valve, or this website's host). Nothing else is sent. You can turn this off in the game's Settings, under "Studio news"; then the game makes no requests at all.
The game engine
Our games are made with the Unity engine, which may send Unity Technologies anonymous information about your computer's hardware and operating system. Unity's privacy policy covers it.
Your files
Saves, settings and screenshots stay in the game's folder on your computer, and in Steam Cloud if you use it.
This website
This website has no cookies, no analytics and no forms. It's hosted by Vercel, which keeps server logs that include your IP address; see Vercel's privacy policy.
Children
Our games aren't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect anyone's personal information.
